How Dumb Of Me…!!!

By the title you must have judged that I have done something really stupid…!! Well I have !! The incident goes like this……

We had a Project Submission which was supposed to be given on Wednesday, 17th January, But the Sir gave a option of postponing it to Saturday. And I like a Dumb fellow agreed to postpone it, although the whole class was against it, thinking that we will get more time to prepare for it, everyone agreed.

So you must be wondering what is the Dumbest Thing I have done…Well, 20 January, Saturday, happens to be my BIRTHDAY…Now you get it..!!

That means, work on the Birthday..That is what I hate the most…So I guess, no option left. So I will have to work on that day as well…

And now since I have told you that its my birtday on 20th Jan, So I expect that you will wish atleast..though If you are feelingto give me gifts then I will accept that as well…

A Busy Week Ahead…

Today, after ages I steped in NIIT. It was long back in June, 2004, that I had join this Course named Management of Information Systems. The duration was supposed to be a year, but thanks to my excellent attendance that it has been going for about 2 & half years now. Everytime I step in to the Online Class Rooms, each student looks at me and try to recollect where had they seen me last, though they always manage to remember my name. My Professor, Mr. Arun, looks at me and asks me the same question as he has done since the last 2 years, “After a long time Mr. Salman!! Where have you been??” and I have been giving him the same answer for months ” Actually Sir I was just about to leave and I fell ill…and couldnt recover for months..!!”
Though today was a tough day, after wasting my whole morning in college without any lectures happening, thanks to our Professor. Came to know that we have our University Viva on the 19th January, 9 days left..have to start studying…
Back to NIIT, today I was told that we are supposed to give 2 presentations in the coming week, that is Monday & Wednesday, then a Exam on Friday. Realising it is too less time and unfair for students, I was about to stand up for each of them to argue for this, but then it was brought to my notice by a girl sitting behind that the project had been given few months. I thought to my self for a minute, and started to think how the hell am i supposed to do that, specially after hardly attending his lectures…

Now, I will have to spend another few sleepless nights, sitting with my books trying to figure out the meaning of each & every sentence, the techniques, the working, how to create tables, managing the database and another ‘N’ no, of things. No other option left I guess.

However, I think I will have to start preparing for the WAR AGAINST NIIT…!!And I just hope that i end up winning the war. One last exam and i will be able to complete my One Year Course tough in a span of 2 & a half years…Then no more anwsering to the questions of the Professors, and no more enetring the class late, atleast at NIIT…!!!

But, I just have a million dollar question, and I guess every student has…” WHY DO THEY HAVE TO KEEP EXAMS TO MARK THE END OF A SEMESTER..?”
